Note: For all scrapbooking classes (except JumpStart Into Scrapbooking), please bring
basic scrapbooking supplies: 12” paper trimmer, wet and dry adhesives, small
sharp scissors, pencil, and black journaling pen. Optional: distressing inks and
additional favorite tools.
For all stamping classes please bring small sharp scissors and an adhesive of some
sort.

Scrapbook Fitness 2008!
Each Tuesday we’ll have a new 12” x 12” layout with all the paper, stickers, ribbon and anything else used to make our page, displayed for you to re-create. You can pick up an instruction sheet complete with sketch and make a page each week—that’s 52 completed pages with hardly any effort! That was easy! See you soon!
Class Descriptions:
Introduction to Stamping: The focus of this class is introducing students to stamping and stamping supplies. Students will spend time exploring materials, watching demonstrations, and practicing a few simple techniques, including heat embossing. Students will make three stamped cards to take home. No previous experience necessary.
This class is a pre-requisite for all other stamping classes offered. Class fee: $10.00, all supplies included. Please bring a pair of small detail scissors and your favorite adhesive.
Jumpstart to Scrapbooking: If the thought of scrapbooking overwhelms you because you don’t know where to begin, this is your first step! We’ve designed a quick and easy Jump Start to get you going in the art of Scrapbooking! We’ll go over the basic information and techniques you need to know and the simple supplies needed to start your first scrapbook. Practice hands-on and make a 6” x 6” album page. Jump Start is offered several times throughout the month. Class fee is $5.00, all supplies included. No previous experience necessary. This class is a pre-requisite for all other scrapbooking classes offered.
How-to…: Join us for a hands-on class on brads, buttons, eyelets, Fastenator, glue dots, scrapbook paints, and all those other products you want to know how to use. You will be making a sample tag for each technique you want to learn. Tag Book is on display at the store. If you have a product or tool purchased from Scrapbook Heaven that you want to learn how to use, bring it and we will help you learn how it works. No other supplies needed. Class fee is $15.00 and you get a 10% discount to buy new products and tools you will now know how to use. Previous experience: Jumpstart to Scrapbooking or equivalent.
First Pages: Now that you have taken Jumpstart to Scrapbooking and the How-to class, it’s time to scrapbook all those wonderful pictures you have! Bring your pictures and supplies (or purchase your supplies for 10% off the day of the class) and sit down with an experienced scrapbooker to make your first scrapbook pages. Previous experience required: Jumpstart to Scrapbooking. Recommended: How-to. Please bring basic scrapbooking supplies. Class fee: 15.00
Card Factory: Do you like to make cards? We will be making four cards—all kinds—stamped, paper-pieced, stickered, die-cut, inked, ribboned, and all very cute and colorful! You will come away with four different completed cards, plus ideas and bits and pieces for more. Please bring small detail scissors and your favorite adhesive. Different cards and techniques featured each month. No previous experience necessary. Class fee: 18.00, all supplies included.
Calendar Series: Always rushing to get next year’s calendar done in December? Do you promise yourself that “next year” I’ll start my calendar in enough time to give it as a gift or at least begin using it before March! Why wait? This class series will help you knock out 4 months of the calendar at a time. In each of the three classes you will complete 4 themed layouts that will be calendar ready! These layouts will be perfect for your photos and are designed by Mandie, so you know they’ll be good! Class fee: $27.00. Bring: Basic supplies.
Mini Keepsake Album: Taking a trip? Want to archive all of those random keepsakes? This Mini Keepsake Album has TONS of hidden nooks and crannies to store all of those collected memories and plenty of space to journal (while you’re thinking about it.) Class fee: $32. Bring: Basic supplies.
Crops and Retreat Descriptions:
Fabulous Friday Crops: Reserve your table for our Friday Crops! Crop at your “own” 6 foot table from 10 a.m. to midnight for $10. Plan ahead because these crops fill up quickly! Don’t miss out! You get $5 store credit towards your purchases of $25 or more during the crop and still get a 10% discount on crop purchases. We will give away one door prize for every 5 registered croppers!
Wonderful Wednesday Crop: Join us on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. while your kiddoes are otherwise occupied and scrapbook all those neglected pictures! We will give away one door prize for every 5 registered croppers! Five hours of no frills cropping for just $5.
In-Store Retreat: Bring your scrapbook supplies, photos and your appetite Friday, beginning at 10 a.m. Scrapbook all day Friday and Saturday until midnight and Sunday until 5 p.m. You don’t have to pack up your stuff each night, just leave it where it is and start where you left off the next morning! How wonderful is that! Each cropper will get her own full-sized 6 foot table and all meals provided. Wonderful gifts for everyone as well as door prizes (with one door prize given away for every 5 retreatants! Retreat cost: $75 for all three glorious days! If you’ve never attended one of our In-Store Retreats, don’t miss signing up early for the next one! Space is limited. Watch our Web site for information about sign-up for the next available retreat.
Alternative Retreat: Same as regular In-Store Retreat except no meals. Snacks will be available and there are lots of places to eat within walking distance. Cost for all three days is $55. Click on In-Store Retreats from our home page and get more information.
